Thomas Carruthers, MD

Dr. Carruthers is an Assistant Professor of Surgery with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a member of the Brown Surgical Associates Vascular Surgery team.  His primary clinical locations are The Miriam Hospital where he is the medical director of the Noninvasive Vascular Lab, the RIH Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine where he is the medical director, and the Providence VA Medical Center.  He has a background in computer science and software engineering, and is currently board certified in Clinical Informatics.  He hopes to contribute to the team with his experience in clinical data access, analysis, and reporting.
