Born in Singapore but raised in California, Joseph ended up making one more move to Rhode Island, where he attended Brown University as an undergraduate and is now currently a medical school student. During his undergraduate years, he studied neuroscience and computer science, both of which led him to his current research interest of leveraging bioinformatics to investigate the myriad of factors influencing health outcomes. In his free time, Joseph is never one to say no to going for a swim, playing a game of pick-up basketball, or watching a stand-up comedy routine with friends.
